Butter Chicken Recipe

Butter Chicken, also known as Murgh Makhani, is a rich and creamy Indian curry made with tender marinated chicken cooked in a flavorful tomato-butter-cream sauce. Originating from Delhi in the 1950s, this globally loved dish features a perfect balance of mild spices, creaminess, and a hint of sweetness. The chicken is first marinated in yogurt and spices for ultimate tenderness, then simmered in a buttery, spiced tomato sauce. 5. Add cream and fenugreek leaves to make it creamy and rich.
Step 3: Cook the Chicken
  1. Add the marinated chicken to the sauce.
  2. Cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  4. Add water if the sauce is too thick.
